From the patent motor car to the show car: fourteen decades of vehicle building in one place, under one surface. Chrome, spoked wheels and paint from six eras react to light in completely different ways — a jointed ceiling would have shown up differently on every single car. Across all of them the reflection stayed the same: one edge, one gradient. Colour temperature and green/magenta trimmed per vehicle, with no rebuild.
